01Who we are
This site belongs to Alma d'Uva, a wine and drinks distributor based in Oeiras, Portugal. Contact: almaduva.lda@gmail.com. By using the site you accept these terms.
02Only for people aged 18 or over
The site promotes alcoholic drinks. Only people aged 18 or over may use it or send us requests. Selling alcohol to minors is against the law; we may ask for identification on delivery and refuse to hand over the goods without it. Be responsible. Drink in moderation.
03The site is a catalogue, not a shop with checkout
On the site you choose products and send us a request. A request is not a purchase and does not oblige us to sell: it is an invitation to get in touch. We reply by e-mail or phone with prices, availability, shipping and how to pay. The sale is only closed when you confirm that offer.
The automatic e-mail you get after sending a request only confirms that we received it.
04Prices, availability and images
- Prices shown are indicative, in euros and including VAT, and may change without notice. The price we confirm to you in writing is the one that counts.
- Trade terms (restaurants, wine shops, companies) are in the price list, sent on request.
- Vintages and stock change; if a product is sold out we suggest an alternative or remove it from the request.
- Photographs are illustrative: the label or vintage delivered may differ from the picture.
05Delivery
We agree the date, time and cost of delivery with you, or pick-up in Oeiras. Check your order when it arrives and tell us within 48 hours if anything came broken or wrong, ideally with a photograph.
06Returns (consumers)
If you buy as a consumer and at a distance, you can withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of delivery, without giving a reason, by e-mailing us. Bottles must come back sealed and in good condition; return shipping is at your expense. We refund what you paid within 14 days of receiving them. This right does not apply to opened bottles or to products personalised at your request. Faulty products are covered by the legal guarantee.
07Complaints and consumer disputes
Talk to us first: almaduva.lda@gmail.com. You can also use the Portuguese online complaints book, the Livro de Reclamações Electrónico. In a consumer dispute you may turn to an alternative dispute resolution body such as the Lisbon Consumer Conflicts Arbitration Centre; the full list is at consumidor.gov.pt.
08Content and trademarks
The site's copy, design and code belong to Alma d'Uva. Product brands, labels and photographs belong to their producers and are used to promote them. You may not copy or reuse this content commercially without written permission.
09Proper use of the site
You may not use the site to send fake requests or requests in someone else's name, try to reach restricted areas, extract data automatically or disrupt its operation. We may ignore abusive requests.
10Liability
We work to keep the site correct and available, but we do not guarantee it is always free of errors or interruptions. Links to other sites (producers, social networks, maps) are given for convenience; we are not responsible for their content. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives consumers.
11Personal data
What we do with your data is set out in the Privacy policy and in Data processing.
12Law and changes
Portuguese law applies. We may change these terms; the version published on this page on the date of your request is the one that counts.
