01Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Alma d'Uva, based in Oeiras, Portugal. For anything about your data, write to almaduva.lda@gmail.com.
02What we collect
We only collect what you give us when you make a request on the site:
- A request for wines, a tasting or a quote: name, e-mail, phone, what you asked for and your notes. If you want delivery, the address and the dates and times you prefer. If you give them, company, tax number and country.
- A price-list request: e-mail and mobile number.
- The language the site was in and the page you arrived from (an ad or a social network, for instance), so we know which campaigns work.
- Whether or not you agreed to receive our campaigns, and the date you agreed.
We never ask for or store payment details on the site. We do not build automated profiles or make automated decisions about you.
03What we use it for
- Answering your request, confirming prices and availability, arranging and making the delivery.
- Issuing an invoice when there is a sale (a legal obligation).
- Sending you news and campaigns, only if you ticked that option. You can opt out whenever you like.
- Understanding what interests visitors, only if you accept analytics and marketing cookies.

04Who we share it with
We do not sell or hand over your data. It is only seen by the people at Alma d'Uva who handle requests and by the companies that provide the site's technical service (hosting, database, e-mail delivery), bound by contract to use it for that purpose alone. The list is in Data processing. When a courier makes a delivery, it receives the name, address and phone number needed to deliver.
05For how long
- Requests and your customer record: while you are our customer and up to 2 years after the last contact.
- Invoices and the details on them: 10 years, as tax law requires.
- Campaign contact details: until you withdraw consent.
06Your rights
At any time and free of charge you can ask us for access to your data, its correction, its erasure, restriction of or objection to processing, portability, and withdrawal of any consent you gave. An e-mail to almaduva.lda@gmail.com is enough; we reply within one month at most.
If you feel we have not handled it properly, you can complain to the Portuguese data protection authority (Comissão Nacional de Protecção de Dados) at cnpd.pt.
07Cookies and browser storage
The site works without cookies of its own. It keeps three things in your browser, and only there: the confirmation that you are 18 or older, the contents of your request while you prepare it, and your cookie choice.
Analytics and marketing cookies (Google Tag Manager and the Meta Pixel) are only loaded after you press “Accept” on the cookie notice. If you choose “Essential only” they are never loaded. To change your mind, clear the site's data in your browser and the notice comes back.
To count visits and measure the site's speed we use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, which set no cookies and do not identify visitors: they record the page viewed, the country, the device type and load times, in aggregate.
08Minors
The site promotes alcoholic drinks and is meant only for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors; if you learn that we did, tell us and we will erase it.
09Changes
If we change how we handle your data, we update this page and the date shown on it.
